Why when connecting my AWS keyboard that it show the 8 digit serial as invalid?

Hi I just received my AWS keyboard,

When I enter the 8 digit serial on the back where it prompts (https://console.aws.amazon.com/deepcomposer/home?region=us-east-1#deepComposerKeyboard ) it shows as invalid. Is there a reason for this?

Thanks for any help to this question.
