Hi - Few criteria for AWS Compute Optimizer are
- It needs at least consecutive 30 hours running time before it makes recommendations for standalone EC2 instances.
- If the instance is in stopped state you will not get any recommendations for that instance
- If the problematic instance belongs to an Autoscalling group then refer to the recommendations for Autoscalling for Compute Optimizer
Hope this helps narrow down the reason on why one of the instance is not showing up in Compute optimizer recommendation.
