Public SSL certificates are free, but have you ever issued a private certificate?

Public SSL/TLS certificates provisioned through AWS Certificate Manager are free. You pay only for the AWS resources you create to run your application.
In this case, you will be charged a fee unless you also delete the private CA created within your account.

$400 per private CA per month for general-purpose mode
You can delete a private CA by following the steps in the document below.
Since the resource is regional, please change to the target region in the management console before deleting it.
