Amazon SES Identity Management verification issue

Hi there,

I did setup my Domain verification completely and I try to proceed to Email Addresses verification. I am currently experiencing an issue at receiving the email verification from Amazon SES.

For instance, each email address I am trying to verify in Identity Management > Email Addresses is stuck on pending verification. No email received in the mailboxes I created so far, I actually tried multiple times during the last few days and got nothing so far.

Any hint?

Hi,

I see that that the 2 email addresses are in pending state, but you can use the domain which are already verified/success to send the emails out. Once the domain is verified you can send emails using any sub-domain or email address under that domain.

I further checked and see that the emails did bounce -

Action: failed
Final-Recipient: rfc822; mikael.drosdziok@mail-atlance.com
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 553 5.1.2 Unknown mail server. Could not find a mail server for mail-atlance.com
Status: 5.1.2

Action: failed
Final-Recipient: rfc822; bastien.doisneau@econocom-mail.com
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 Mailbox does not exist!
Status: 5.3.0

Please check if you have mailbox with the email address you are trying to verify.

hello,

I can confirm that you have 3 domains and 1 email address successfully verified in the SES account. Once you have verified a domain, you can send emails from any email address or sub-domain under that domain.

if you did not receive the verification email within a few minutes, complete the following steps:

  1. Check the spam or junk mail folder for the email address you're attempting to verify.
  2. Confirm that the address that you're trying to verify is able to receive email. Using a separate email address (such as your personal email address), send a test email to the address that you want to verify.
  3. Check the list of verified addresses in the Amazon SES console. Make sure that there aren't any errors in the email address that you're attempting to verify.

Hi @vgauras,

Did all the check recommanded. Nothing is working so far and the 2 email addresses I need to validate won't receive any identity validation email from amazon.

Can you take a look by yourself into the admin of the account in SES, emails are managed by amazon workmail.

PS : I really need it to be verifyed the emails sent are considered as SPAM for the email addresses not confirmed.

Hi, Yes there is an email address existing. You can see, I created a workmail account using the domains : http://tinyurl.com/y6mrdxvm

But I have too some 550 error when trying to mail bastien.doisneau@econocom-mail.com when not using an email thread started by the @econocom-mail.com email address.

So I really think I did everything right in Amazon SES admin. The emails being not delivered are out of my scope. So please can you try to understand what could be not working on your end?
