Why can we only upload word documents for Amazon Q for Connect?

For some reason only word documents are accepted for the knowledge base, this sounds pretty limiting and confusing.

Could you please help?

Amazon Q in Connect supports the ingestion of HTML, Word, PDF, and text files up to 1 MB. Please refer https://docs.aws.amazon.com/connect/latest/adminguide/enable-q.html#q-content-types

  • Thanks a lot! The issue was around the size of the file, I was uploading several files but only the word documents where somehow being accepted. It turned out to be the file size :). Is there any road map to increase this file size? Or to connect it to an Amazon Q Business in the future?
