Yes, pods running on EC2 nodegroup in Amazon EKS Cluster can communicate with the pods running on Fargate in the cluster.
Pod networking in Amazon EKS cluster is provided by the Amazon VPC Container Network Interface (CNI) plugin. This plugin assigns a private IPv4 or IPv6 address from your VPC to each Pod.
