Hello rofi93!
Even working for AWS I run into this problem once in a while!
Most times I have this problem I realize that I have the incorrect AWS region selected in the Management Console. Most of my AWS instances live in the us-east-1 Northern Virginia region. Occasionally I am testing in different regions and forget to switch back to the region where my instances are located.
Can you verify which region you are using in the upper right hand corner of the AWS Management Console?
See if you can select the US East (Ohio) us-east-2 region and check for your EC2 instance.
