AWS Storage Gateway IO device error

0

I am using Veeam for backups and utilizing an AWS Storage Gateway for "tapes", a media changer and 10 drives. I have the Gateway server in our VMWare environment in the same VLAN as the backup server. The drives all show as IBM ULT3850-TD5 SCSI Sequential Devices. a couple weeks ago my AWS Storage Gateway started having I/O device errors and I cannot find a fix.

System is fully patched and all drivers say they are up to date I have created new tapes with out issue, however they show the same IO error Existing tapes, when catalogued, are showing block issues "Failed to read next block"

Has anyone else run into this before? I have a 2nd tape gateway at another site and it is working perfectly fine. Both gateways show they are at the same software version (latest and greatest)
