I already tried that before subscribing and the code was not recognized. I thought there would be an option to apply code somewhere after subscription. Anyway, I already raised question directly in the second link you provided. I hope to get a help there
I experience the same issue that Anar does. When entering the code SKILLBUILDER_FREETRIAL (copied from https://pages.awscloud.com/GLOBAL-Other-GC-Skill-Builder-Subscription-Free-Trial.html, or even typing in manually), and clicking on Add, I get "Check code and try again" with the red exclamation mark, even in an Incognito mode browser, and from mobile phone as well.
I do have a Skill Builder account, I'm even logged in with my AWS account as well, and I haven't had any subscription yet.
