Bounce and complaint rates reset timeframe

0

Hi,

We sent around 45,000 emails 1 month ago. The bounce rate was 0.74% and the complaint rate was 0.36%. We checked today and the rates are the same.

Amazon recommended we should keep the complaint rate below 0.1%. For this reason, we paused our newsletter campaign.

Now, we would like to discuss the timeframe for resetting the bounce and complaint rates. Could you please inform us with an estimate or any insights on this matter? We want to ensure that we resume our campaign only when the rates are within the acceptable range.

Alternatively, we would like to explore the possibility of utilizing a premium service that offers unlimited newsletter sending while automatically resetting the bounce and complaint rates. Does AWS offer such a service? It would be ideal if we could have the rates reset every 7 days or even on a daily basis, ensuring that we start each new cycle with a clean slate.

We look forward to your guidance in resolving this issue and continuing our newsletter campaign successfully.

Best regards, Obydul

It takes around 30 days for the bounce rate to reset, you can also try use the following: Amazon Simple Email Service (SES). SES is a fully managed email service that offers a variety of features, including unlimited newsletter sending, automatic resetting of the bounce and complaint rates, and spam filtering.
