As mesut commented, it can be stopped from the management console.

In rare cases, the system may remain in the stopped state even after stopping. In this case, you can force the stop by using the management console again.

1.Log in to the AWS Management Console. 2.Navigate to the EC2 dashboard. 3.In the navigation pane, click on "Instances" to view your EC2 instances. 4.Find the instance with the ID "i-0fda98e5f604fa0a5" in the list of instances. 5.Select the instance by clicking the checkbox next to it. 6.From the "Actions" dropdown menu, select "Instance State", and then click "Stop instance".
If it gives an error, can you send the error output?
