Follow-up on Case – AWS Certification Name Update Required Before Exam

-1

I have already provided my legal name (Swati Gupta) and a redacted copy of my government-issued photo ID as requested. However, I have not yet received a response or confirmation that my AWS Certification Account profile has been updated.

My AWS Certification exam is scheduled the day after tomorrow, and I am concerned that I may not be able to take the exam if my account name does not match my government-issued ID.

Could you please prioritize my request and confirm once the name update has been completed? If you require any additional information from me, I will provide it immediately.

Hello.

I have also changed my name for AWS exams in the past.
I think you have already contacted AWS from the URL below, but in my case it took about 2 days to make the change due to email exchanges with AWS.
Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do but wait for a reply.
Therefore, in a worst-case scenario, I recommend considering rescheduling the exam.

I understand your concern about ensuring your AWS Certification account name matches your government-issued ID before your upcoming exam. Since you've already submitted the required documentation to your existing case, the best way to follow up is to add a new correspondence directly through the AWS Support Center at https://console.aws.amazon.com/support/. This will ensure your request is seen by the support team handling your case.

When adding your follow-up, you can mention that your exam is scheduled soon and request a status update on the name change processing. The support team will be able to see your previously submitted documentation and provide you with confirmation once the update is complete.
