Can AWS Cognito Be Used Instead of Okta for Deploying a Slack Gateway for Amazon Q Business?

Hello, I am currently exploring the deployment of a Slack gateway for Amazon Q Business as described in the AWS blog post. The blog outlines the use of Okta for identity management in this process.

Given that I may not have access to an Okta account, I would like to know if AWS Cognito can serve as an alternative for achieving the same integration.
