SNS / Pinpoint Service Limit

Hello,

Customer is looking to send out 1Lakh SMS (promotional SMS) in 15 minutes window.

Does SNS / Pinpoint support this scale? Are there any constraints or limitations that I should be aware of while proposing some numbers?

Also if there is any documentation or architecture around to support such scale would be helpful.

Both sns & Pinpoint can send 20 sms/second with default quota, which result in 18000 sms sent in 15min window. Your customer would have to open a support case to ask for more and then see what the reply would be. They could potentially use multiple accounts to work around this.
