Added AZ to a Load balancer and it does not generate an EIN

We added a third AZ to the load balancer today at 1:30 but the new ENI has not been generated yet. I noticed last night, I was only getting on A record back initially but by this morning it was returning both. Do you know how long this normally takes?

Hi,

By default the LB FQDN resolves to two IP's. When you add the third AZ, the ENI and IP assignments would be immediate provided you have an instance being launched in the third AZ. Till then you would see the LB resolving to two IP's only
