Default Host Management Configuration

0

Good day,

I tried using the default host management configuration under AWS systems manager, and when I tried with an Amazon Linux 2023 AMI, I couldn't connect to it. But when I created another instance using Amazon Linux 2 HVM, it worked perfectly.

Are there any compatibility issues between systems manager and Amazon Linux 2023?

Thanks.

Hello.

Amazon Linux 2023 has SSM Agent installed by default, so if you have set the IAM policy necessary to use Systems Manager, you should be able to connect with Session Manager.
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/systems-manager/latest/userguide/ami-preinstalled-agent.html

I checked with my AWS account and was able to connect.
The region "ap-northeast-1" is used.
