RDS MariaDB no data for ReplicaLag metric

1

I have an RDS MariaDB setup with 2 read replicas. For both read replicas, I have stopped getting data for the ReplicaLag metric. The read replicas are still replicating correctly - I have verified this by connecting to them directly.

What can I do to get these metrics to populate again?

Replicas and primary are all MariaDB 10.6.14.

EDIT: I've tried rebooting one of the replicas and applying outstanding maintenance to it, but this made no difference.

Apparently this is a known issue and there should hopefully be a fix out by the end of November. I have seen the metric re-appear in us-east-2, but nowhere else yet. If I hear of anything changing about that, I'll stick a note here.

We've noticed exactly the same thing. We have raised it with AWS, but haven't heard anything back so far. We've also created a new RDS instance with replication set up and no ReplicaLag metric at all. If I hear anything, I'll post back.

These metrics have now quietly re-appeared for us in eu-west-2, so I guess you were right Darren. Thanks for the info!
