How do i fix the "ERROR: The request is missing a valid API key." from my wordpress installation

0

I am new to AWS ec2, and i followed the steps to set up and instance and install wordpress on it. I managed creating a decent site, but now i am unable to login into the wordpress dashboard. It keeps giving the same error msg again and again, "ERROR: The request is missing a valid API key." I did try rebooting the instance. But that didnt solve the issue. Any assistance or guidance or any documentation would be helpful. I really would love to not recreate the whole set up again. Please help!

This doesn't sound like a Wordpress error, it sounds like a 3rd party plugin or integration you're using in Wordpress. If you have access to your database or the files, you should attempt to disable all plugins and re-enable them one by one.

  • No, but when i try to connect to the EC2 Instance, it gives me the error: There was a problem connecting to your instance Log in failed. If this instance has just started up, wait a few minutes and try again. Otherwise, ensure the instance is running on an AMI that supports EC2 Instance Connect. Retry
