Unable to Cloud9 due to disk space issue

0

Hi everyone,

I have cloud9 instance and it is out of space and it is unable to initialize properly. it was running on 10GB and I increased the volume size to 20 GB. however, I can start the CLoud9 instance, and even though it initialized, the space I have added appears in the properties of the instance, but I still cannot connect to it. I see below message in the snapshot: IOError: [Errno 28] No space left on device

also when starting the instance, i can see it is spinning constantly with below:

Status Connecting

here is the status of the instance: aws-cloud9-cloud9-dev-env-bcbed33ff31246849aa1ad36542d1649 i-038ec2d70d837d810 Running

t2.micro 2/2 checks passed No alarms

Hello.

Since Cloud9 is EC2, please follow the steps in the document below to configure it so that it can be recognized by the OS after expanding EBS.
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/recognize-expanded-volume-linux.html

Cloud9 can also be connected with Systems Manager Session Manager.
After connecting, try configuring the disk.
