Using Amazon CodeCatalyst is a good option to leverage the context feature of Amazon Q Developer Pro. CodeCatalyst integrates with Amazon Q and allows you to assign issues to Q, which can then generate code changes and create pull requests for you.
While CodeCatalyst is a recommended option, it is not the only possibility. You can also use other IDEs and development environments that integrate with Amazon Q, such as Visual Studio Code or IntelliJ IDEA. These IDEs may provide similar code generation and security scanning capabilities powered by Amazon Q.

Coming back to your question about context feature, you can use your local IDE like VSCode and highlight the code > Send to Q This will allow you to use the context feature without using codecatalyst.
