Amazon Cognito Feature Suggestion(s)

0

Hello,

Can the current version of the QuickSight embedded dashboard workshop please be updated to the latest version of Cognito. The current version is difficult, if not impossible to understand and use.

Also, can Cognito provide support for QuickSight dashboard/Visuals embedding from another account? It prompts for a AccountID, but when you enter an ID that is not the current account, the embedding doesn't work. It works only when the embedding is in the current account.

Thanks! Joe

Hello Joe,

Hope you are doing well.
I understand that you have some concerns regarding the integration of Cognito with QuickSight embedding.

===> 1. Can the current version of the QuickSight embedded dashboard workshop please be updated to the latest version of Cognito. The current version is difficult, if not impossible to understand and use.

In this context, I referred the Quicksight workshop for embedding [1] and in the Embedding Framework>Cognito UserPool section, I could infer that the screenshots being displayed are from the previous UI of the Cognito. I understand that this may cause difficulties in following the workshop.

With that said, I would like to inform you that I have registered your feedback with the internal team so that they can update the workshops to reflect the steps and the screenshots using the latest UI version of Cognito.

===> 2. Can Cognito provide support for QuickSight dashboard/Visuals embedding from another account? It prompts for a AccountID, but when you enter an Account ID that is not the current account, the embedding doesn't work. It works only when the embedding is in the current account.

I understand that you are using Cognito with your QuickSight Account and in this process you have observed that when you enter any AWS Account ID apart from the current account, the dashboard embedding does not work.

In this context, I would request you to kindly raise a support case with AWS QuickSight team which would help us to investigate this issue you are facing and in this way we can assist with your concerns in a better way. The re:post is a forum for general advice and it would be best to contact AWS support for more specific troubleshooting, as they can look into the exact configuration of your accounts and resources.

Thank you and have a nice day !
