Timestream In-Memory Storage

1

Hello,
We are planning to integrate our IoT data in lambda and then insert it into the timestream. But the problem is that Timestream has an in-memory database option and we are just afraid of it that what if something goes down, like a maintenance shutdown. Will we lose our data? or does AWS make multiple copies of the data stored in memory or something like that?

You will not lose your data ingested into the in-memory store; Amazon Timestream durably stores data ingested in the memory store. You can find more information on the Timestream storage tiers in our documentation here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/timestream/latest/developerguide/storage.html.
