Data copy from Standard IA to Glacier Deep Archive needs to be stopped - how?

0

Hello All

Our partner started to move 60 TB of data from S3 Standard IA tier to S3 Glacier Deep Archive tier.

The process is taking too long, and they want to stop/cancel the move.

Is it possible, and if yes - how?

Thanks

Viktor

Please note, once a transition has started, it cannot be directly interrupted. Immediate Action: Contact AWS Support: Open an urgent support ticket with AWS. Explain the situation and ask if they can help stop the in-progress transitions from Standard IA to Glacier Deep Archive. AWS Support may have backend tools or processes to intervene in ongoing operations that aren't accessible through the regular console or API.

I hope this is useful.
