Failed to load the jupyterlab-git server extension

0

In JupyterLab, within a 'SageMaker - New' Space, I am able to successfully install the 'jupyterlab-git' extension, both via the extensions tab (the puzzle piece tab with the menu that says PYPI MANAGER at the top) and via a lifecycle configuration script. I can see the extension under the 'INSTALLED' heading. However, in either case, when the page is reloaded or loaded for the first time, I get the message "Failed to load the jupyterlab-git server extension."

Do you know how this error can be avoided?

Hi,

You seem to be experiencing something similar to https://stackoverflow.com/questions/65918842/failed-to-load-jupyterlab-git-server-extension

See on this question what are the causes and how to fix it.

Are you on same versions that they mention?

Best,

Didier
