How to cancel saving plan

Hi,

We had procured AWS RI (1-year plan) for EC2 to save costs for the long term. However, due to changes in the business landscape, we don't need the EC2 instance for time being. Do you have any contact with AWS India to stop the commitment plan or defer it for a few months?

Generally speaking savings plan cannot be canceled / deferred once purchased unless it's made in error.

However your best bet is to contact AWS customer support by creating a ticket in the support center.
