Hi there!
I'm not sure what kernel version is in play here but can you confirm it is at least version 3.x? Per the documentation: Only Kernel 3.x or above are supported for Debian/Ubuntu on AWS.

yes, the version is 5.19.0-1027-aws, that is above 3.x
I can't quite understand why you'd get that error but maybe, it is because it is 22.04.2 so that extra .2 indicates a higher version than expected.
Would you be able to spin up a new micro instance with a version that is exactly 22.04 and check against it? Maybe you would need a new AMI for that (one of the defaults).
