Why is ENI changing on the Application Load Balancer?

0

As AWS Public IPv4 Address charge from February 1, 2024. Our Application Load Balancers was created by 2 Availability Zones, so one Application Load Balancer has 2 service managed public IPv4 addresses. We had tagged 2 ENIs created by one Application Load Balancer to monitor public IPv4 address cost. But we find the Application Load Balancer changes ENIs, then new ENIs have no tag data. How to monitor public IPv4 address cost for the Application Load Balancer?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Use Public IP Insights in VPC (Free Tier) to track public IPv4 usage for your ALB. It won't give per-ENI cost, but helps estimate cost based on total IPs assigned to the ALB. There's no charge for using Public IP Insights in the VPC Free Tier.

I would suggest you use Public IP Insights to track and monitor public IPv4 usage.
