How to disable billing of resources not used?

Hey community, I received an email regarding outstanding charges for my aws account for the month of march. I haven't used any resources as such. I did signup on Databricks and there I did link my aws account. But I haven't used them at all. But still I was charged for the month. I am hoping if anyone, especially from amazon support team, can guide me so that I can shutdown all the resources and not get billed anymore.

  1. How do I check for active resources that I no longer need on my AWS account?
  2. How do I terminate active resources that I no longer need on my AWS account?

    Cool thanks. Just wanted to know if subnets are active, then is it considered as resources consumed?
