Is there a way to migrate directory services from Simple AD to AWS Managed Microsoft AD?

We have been using SimpleAD and would like to migrate to Microsoft AD so we can take advantage of managing permissions across other AWS services. Is it possible and if not a workaround?

    This doesn't help to answer the question, as they asked for migrating from Simple AD to Managed AD, which is not possible with the exception of manually exporting users to a CSV and importing with something like CSVDE
