Try this before request Production access again:
- Check SES Account Status
- Go to the Amazon SES Console
- Navigate to Account dashboard
- Confirm that your account is still in production mode for the region you're using.
- Verify New Identity
- If you're sending email from a new domain or address, verify it under Email Addresses or Domains in SES.

Hey,
Hope you're keeping well.
Amazon SES production access is granted per region, so if you create a new user and start using SES in a different region, it may default to sandbox mode there. In the SES console, check Account dashboard for the specific region you’re sending from, and if it shows sandbox, submit a new production access request for that region. Also ensure the new IAM user has the correct SES permissions and verified identities (domains or email addresses) configured before sending.
Thanks and regards,
Taz
