Hi,

In cloud computing the term “compute” describes concepts and objects related to software computation like processing power, memory, networking, storage, and other resources required for the computational success of any program. Containers are one of the AWS compute services.

Here is more info on what Compute is in the context of Cloud Computing: https://aws.amazon.com/what-is/compute/

Here is an overview of AWS Compute Services where you can find all the different Container services: https://aws.amazon.com/products/compute/

Hope this helps!
