AWS Config Monitoring of ELBs Without Internet Connectivity

0

I encountered an issue in the ELB integration tab, where it mentions "No Integration detected" with AWS Config, suggesting that I need to set up AWS Config.

Here are some specifics of my setup:

  • AWS Config is configured in the current region with multi-region support enabled in the Primary region.
  • The VPC where my ELBs reside does not have direct internet access.
  • AWS Config seems to monitor the ELBs correctly, as changes are visible in AWS Config's activity logs. But I can't tell these logs are recorded when the Internet available or not.

Question:

  1. Can AWS Config monitor changes to ELBs in a VPC without internet connectivity?
  2. What could be the reason behind the "No Integration detected" message in the ELB integration tab, and how can I resolve this discrepancy?

AWS Config is a service which independent of how your VPC is setup. Internet access isn’t required.

  • Thank you for answering my question. I'm glad that Internet is not the problem. So, what could likely be the cause in this case?
