Does "fpga-describe-local-image -S 0 -M" include DRAM?

Hey all,

The AWS F1 documentation mentions that the command "fpga-describe-local-image -S 0 -M" can report power consumed by an AFI. However I could not tell from the documentation if the power consumption that is reported includes power consumed by the DRAM device memory, or if that needs to be measured separately.

If the DRAM connected to the FPGA (the device memory) does need to have its power consumption measured separately how do we do that?

Thanks!

Having looked around a bit more it seems from this thread (https://forums.aws.amazon.com/thread.jspa?threadID=299931) that the reported number does not include DRAM.

Are the contents of this thread still current? In other words is there still no way to directly measure DRAM power consumption?
