Unable to delete snapshot of a terminated instance

I'm unable to delete the snapshot of a terminated instance.

The instance is a very old t1.micro for which the Volume has also been deleted.

How do I get rid of the snapshot so that this instance incurs no additional charges?

Make sure there are no AMI associated with the snapshot. If there is, delete the AMI first.
