Wordpress really slow when saving pages/posts

0

Hi,

I have set up a Wordpress instance (2 GB RAM, 1 vCPU, 60 GB SSD) and imported a Wordpress website to run some tests. In general everything looks working fine however I have noticed that editing post/pages is extremely slow. It takes too long to load and save a page. I have increased the PHP Memory limit and some other parameter in the PHP.ini files but with no luck.

Can you please let me know how to solve this? What's the recommended minimum hardware to run Wordpress?

I am really interested to replace other hosting services with Lightsail, but I have to be sure that everything is working fine and as fast as possible.

Hi,

Thank you for the explanation. I will have a look at Amazon EC2 then. Is the configuration of EC2 more complicated than Lightsail?
