Not built-in to the service but you could try something like this: Simple File Manager for Amazon EFS.

That's really disappointing and I wonder why this is the case. Some kind of a view feels important and needed to manage the EFS service.

Technically all I need is a way of seeing EFS content to debug issues and Secure Session Management fits that purpose perfectly. It allowed to connect to an ECS task (like a SSH session); effectively giving me a bastion node to work with.
