You're encountering this error because AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) has a default quota of 10 domain names per certificate. However, you can request an increase to support up to 100 domain names per certificate.
To resolve this issue, you'll need to request a quota increase through the Service Quotas console for the ACM service. Before creating the request, keep in mind that adding more domain names can create additional administrative work, especially if you're using email validation for your certificates.
The quota for the number of domain names per ACM certificate only applies to certificates provided by ACM, not to certificates that you import into ACM. When you request a certificate, you can include the primary domain name in the DomainName field, and additional domains in the SubjectAlternativeNames field.
Once your quota increase is approved, you'll be able to include up to 100 domain names in a single ACM certificate.
