I would like to know how to delete user account in workdocs.

From your WorkDocs Site (example: example.awsapps.com/workdocs/), you will need to click on the account icon next to the "Support" button. Then, from the available options, click on the "Open admin control panel" button.

In the next window, scroll down until you find the users. Next to the user you want to delete, on the right hand side, you will find a "thrash can" icon. If there are no other users, you will need to delete the full site.

  • you can only delete users that never confirmed their account with Workdocs (their state is Pending). If the user ever accepted the invitation, it can't be deleted. In this case, you can only disable the account instead of deleting it.

    If you really want to delete the user, then you can do so in Active Directory as long as you are using Simple AD, AD Connector or Managed AD but this isn't recommended for auditing and accountability reasons. After deleting the user from AD, you can logout/login to Workdocs and the user will be gone and can be reinvited. It's recommended to disable the account first and transfer ownership of existing files to a different user in case the files need to be accessed.
