VPC cost is increasing

0

I recently created a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) for hands-on practice while learning AWS. Last week, I deleted this VPC and even reached the extent of deleting the default VPCs in my account. However, despite these deletions, my costs are still increasing daily.

Could you please assist me in identifying the source of these charges and help me understand what steps I need to take to stop any further unexpected costs?

Sorry to see the trouble!

This article can help to pin down those unexpected charges. If you need further guidance, you can always open a Billing case with our team in our Support Center, to look into it with you.

You can use Cost Explorer in the billing console to see a breakdown of the costs. Set the granularity to "daily" and the "group by" setting as "usage type". Set the time range to start on the 1st of this month and to end 2 days ago (more recent data is incomplete). This should give a good idea where the costs are originating.

There are lots of other options under "group by" that you can break down the costs by, and you can also use the filters on the right to drill down to a specific item, like the VPC service, or to filter out something that you've already covered and don't want to flood the screen.
