FTP Server On EC2

0

Hello,

I have a windows EC2 instance that IIS installed on it. I have created a new FTP server on IIS and defined necessary port permissions. I imitated all settings from another server (it is not on AWS) which is perfectly working. But it is not working on my EC2 instance. Any ideas?

FTP uses ports 20 and 21, ensure these are open in the security group associated with the EC2, as well as the NACL associated with the subnet in which the EC2 is provisioned.

You might want to check this service:

https://aws.amazon.com/aws-transfer-family/

Any error messages you can provide? Do you have the correct security groups and acls setup? Are you using active or passive ftp?
