Workmail Not Receiving, Correct Settings

0

I set up a new workmail with the same settings from an existing/working organization/domain, except for the unique DKIMs, etc. I can send email and I was able to connect to the account in Outlook, but it is not receiving email from itself or from outside using the webmail client or Outlook. I've verified the information listed in this help topic: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/workmail/latest/adminguide/mail-routing.html. All of the settings are basic. I also tried the suggestions from this post, but still cannot receive: https://repost.aws/questions/QUNOwDDvQJSlep6bo06b2-Ew/can-send-but-not-receive-email-from-aws-workmail.

The MX and TXT records on the domain were created programmatically by AWS. I did create the dmarc and autodiscover records manually, based on another domain. DMARC is enabled. And the autodiscover record worked during Outlook setup. Everything in the workmail Organization has a green check mark, and all other settings match the existing/working organization/domain.

Suggestions please. Thank you.

I found the problem. I was missing the inbound MX file for the root domain. Only had the feedback MX that was set for the mail subdomain
