"Support (Developer)" cost appears at AWS Cost Management

In AWS Cost Management, it appears I was charged with 13.52 USD for Support (Developer); however I am not aware of this service.

Will I be charged at the end of the month for this service? What is this service? Can I disable it?

This is associated with a higher level of a support plan. In order to change your support plan, you can follow these steps.

  • Hm it says here I am using de "developer" plan, which costs "3% of monthly AWS charges".

However, I dont have any monthly AWS charges.

Shouldn't it be 0 USD of billing?

  • Unfortunately from the view I cannot see any other related charges based on the filters established but there is that tax charge which would mean there is something else being charged to the account. I would recommend first changing the support plan back to basic to avoid incurring any additional charges and then opening a Account and Billing support case to have them help identify where the other charges and see if they can help to get the support plan charge removed.

  • Per the public pricing page, you are charged the greater of $29 or 3% of AWS spend.

  • @chris_g tnks for the response, now I have understood it.
