What should i do for connection Amazon Connect with Apple Messages for Business?

0

Few years ago the team tried to connect AWS Amazon Connect as MSP for Apple Messages for Business and now I am trying again with the same accounts they used before, the problem here is that they did it before but they did not finish the process with Apple. Now when I started the project again Apple told us to contact AWS for the experience review process, the fact here is that the above steps seem to not work anymore. The step where I have to make a test account seems to be completed but I don't see the test account anywhere, is that account registered at Amazon connect? And I can't change any data involving the test accounts. How can I solve this issue? Do I have to make changes at Amazon Connect?

To connect Amazon Connect with Apple Messages for Business, you'll need to follow a specific process, which may have changed since your team's previous attempt. Here's what you should do:

  1. First, ensure you have the necessary information:

    • Apple Messages for Business Account ID
    • Apple Token
    • Amazon Connect instance ARN
    • Amazon Connect flow ID
  2. Since Apple has directed you to contact AWS for the experience review process, you should open a support ticket with AWS. This is the current method for establishing or updating the integration.

  3. In your support ticket, clearly state that this is a request to enable Apple Messages for Business integration with Amazon Connect. Provide all the information mentioned above.

  4. Regarding the test account issue, test accounts for Apple Messages for Business are typically managed through Apple Business Register, not directly in Amazon Connect. If you can't see or modify the test accounts, you may need to contact Apple support for assistance with that aspect.

  5. For the Amazon Connect side, ensure that you have:

    • Enabled Customer Profiles for your Amazon Connect instance
    • Set up the necessary permissions in your security profiles
    • Configured the Authenticate Customer flow block if you're implementing authentication
  6. If you're having trouble with any specific steps or if the process seems different from what you expected, it's best to detail these issues in your AWS support ticket. The support team can provide you with the most up-to-date information and guide you through any changes in the integration process.

  7. Remember that you may need to update your integration if you want to change the flow ID or other information. This is also done through an AWS support ticket.

Given that the process may have changed and you're encountering issues, working directly with AWS support is the best way to ensure a successful integration and resolve any problems specific to your setup.
