sessions manager console login failure

I am not able to session into my ec2 instant. However, I am able to ssh into the instant. I have created an ssm role assigned AWSSSMFull Access permissions yet cannot connect to the instant. When I attempt to connect from the console using the sessions client, I get this error: The required IAM instance profile isn't attached to the instance. You can attach a profile using AWS Systems Manager Quick Setup. Please help.

    Can you check the IAM role that you used in your EC2? Does it have an Instance Profile ARN (found in the Summary section of the IAM Role)?

    arn:aws:iam::999342559036:instance-profile/SSM-SAT-INST (Yes I did)
