Can I attach Lightsail disk to a Lightsailt container?

I am trying to run a public docker container (published by a 3rd party) on Lightsail, as opposed to on ECS. The issue I am having is that I need persistent storage, as the application is stateful. Having created a Lightsail block storage disk, I don't see a way to attache/mount it on the container.
Is there such an option or are Lightsail containers only intended for stateless application use cases?
