One or more of the CNAMEs you provided are already associated with a different resource.

I created a cloudfront distribution earlier today, with some custom domains [sub1.domain.com, sub2.domain.com]. i disabled it and then I created a new distribution. I am trying to the add the previously used custom domain on the disabled distribution, then i get the following error. "One or more of the CNAMEs you provided are already associated with a different resource.". the thing is, I can't find the previously disabled distribution. even after using aws-cli. But then i have another cloudfront distribution on another aws account using the same domain could that be whats causing the issue?.

One thing to note is: the current aws account I'm getting this issue from has no R53 or any services configured. apart from containers running on ECS and their ALB loadbalancers configured on EC2.

I recreated the same scenario with another domain specified on another distribution! and i got the same error. it seems you can't actually use a domain/subdomain used on another distribution configured on another aws account.
