DNSSEC removal for a transferred domain

0

Hi,

I made a mistake of not disabling DNSSEC before transferring domain from CloudFlare to Route53. Currently, it's returning "SERVFAIL". Would it be possible to request DS record removal from the registry? The affected domain is the only one in my account. Any help is much appreciated.

Regards,

Is that screenshot from the "Hosted zones" section of the console?

What about the "Registered domains" page?

If Route 53 is your domain registrar, you should be able to do that through the AWS console.

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/Route53/latest/DeveloperGuide/domain-configure-dnssec.html#domain-configure-dnssec-deleting-keys

if you're using a different registrar, you need to do it through their control panel (or customer service).

Thanks mnordhoff, Route53 is now the registrar but unfortunately I don't see any keys in the AWS console that I can delete.

However, whois on my domain still shows DNSSEC: signedDelegation.

Yes! it was still present there and after removing it, the domain is working again.
Thank you so much for taking time and helping me resolve this.
