All rows of calculated field are unavailable.

Question

I am trying to get a value for a calculated filed. I can't see the error in the calculated field, but the values for calculated field are unavailable.
I am using sum function on a field which is integer and contains only 0 and 1.
The calculated field is like SUM({field}).
Any ans on why we see unavailable values in all rows of Dataset,Thanks in advance.

Are you saying that the calculation field cannot be used on the dataset edit screen as shown below?

This is by design.  
Aggregate functions are only available during analysis and visualization

It can be used for visual display on analysis and dashboard screens.
