Backup reports and copyjobs reports

Is there a way to set a retention on backup reports and copy job reports? I've set a 30 days Lifecyle on the S3 buckets, but would like to purge older reports from the past 120 days.

Hello,

As these reports are delivered to an S3 bucket, you can make use of native S3 object management features to manage these reports. You could set a Lifecycle policy on the report bucket to delete reports after a certain time period, or move the reports to a cheaper storage tier after some time. Unfortunately, there isn't a direct way provided by AWS Backup to setup a retention period on the backup and copy job reports.

If you want to delete older reports from the past 120 days, you can update your current lifecycle rule to '120 days' so that the rule is set to expire all objects (reports) after 120 days from their creation date.
