Step Functions Local update?

I noticed the last version of StepFunctionsLocal is 1.12.0 (~ 5 months ago) which included support for the new Intrinsic Functions. Will the service be updated to include new futures like the distributed map states?

However, I am unable to give you a precise timeline for when this feature will be considered or implemented.     Would also like to know when this would be getting an update. It is getting quite out of date now. Certain things will be deprecated soon from step functions but their replacements are not even available in the local image!

I'm using the latest update from a month ago, it still doesn't support textract resources. Can I request to have this added, especially textract:startExpenseAnalysis. Thanks.
